Responsibilities for network staff


As a staff member, you are subject to the same rules as regular users, but you have additional expectations and rules, as you are granted privileges beyond that of a normal user.
  • Active - You are expected to be online and active at the very least a few hours a week.
    You are allowed to have a life, but at the same time, you have an obligation to help the team.

  • Professional - You must keep in mind that this is a network for people, and at the end of the day, you serve them.

  • Objective - You must not let friendship or relations step into your involvement as a staffer.
    If you feel uncomfortable dealing with a friend, feel free to ask a senior staff member to step in!

  • Discrete - You must never disclose information granted to you as a staff member outside of staff channels, or communication with other staff.
    This includes, but is not limited to, Services information, IPs and other privileged information, mailing list information, or information disclosed to you in private by users.
